Jon R. Coover is President and Co-Founder of Minerva Capital Management. He directed acquisitions and their integration into Career Education Corporation (CECO: NASDAQ) including the integration of the Whitman School Group, the initial franchise arrangement with Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Division, Paris, France and the development of the International Division within CECO. Following CECO’s acquisition of American Intercontinental University (AIU) Jon co-authored the AIU Online Division. As co-founder of CECO and one of three Group Presidents, Jon built the Admissions Department for CECO and opened campus satellites and branch campuses in the United States, Europe, Canada and the Middle East. Following these achievements, Jon continued participation in the education vertical with Premier Education Group, Empire Education, and assisted Porter and Chester in upgrading their Admissions system establishing processes synergistic with present market demands.
Dr. Coover co-founded Minerva Capital Management, Inc. (MCM) hedge fund.
